If your QuickBooks Web Connector will not successfully sync with QuickBooks you can try the following:
If the Web Connector log shows that the wrong company file is open, or that it cannot locate the company file, check the path that Recur360 is using to try to open the company file. You can see this in Settings - Account
If the file is no longer located there you can press the Reset File Path button. Then on the next sync with the web connector you will need to have the QuickBooks company file open so it can save the path. Once the sync completes the path will be updated in Recur360 and you should be able to sync without the company file open after that.
If the Web Connector says "Invalid Password"
you can reset the web connector password. Keep in mind that the web connector password is different and separate from your Recur360 login password or your QuickBooks password. It is only used by the web connector. You can not see what the current password is, you can only reset it. To reset the web connector password go to Settings - Account and scroll to the bottom of the screen. On the right side will be a button for QuickBooks Desktop Steps. Note: this button will only appear for the Recur360 admin user.
Click that button and scroll to step 7
You can see when the last time the password was changed. If you need to get a new password you can press the Generate QuickBooks Web Connector Password button. This will generate a new random password that will show on the screen. Clear the message confirming that a new password has been created
Then scroll back down to step 7 where you will see the new password
We recommend using the Copy Password link to copy the entire password so that a character is not missed or typed incorrectly.
Paste the new password into the password field on the web connector and press the Enter key. You will be prompted to save the password
Click yes and the new password will be saved. You should be able to sync after that.
